Harvest is over. I have some yummy spaghetti sauce in the pantry, complements of my heirloom brandywines, silvery furs and romas.
When draining all that water off my pasta in preparation for saucing it up these colanders/strainers come in quite handy. One day when I feel particularly ambitious I'm going to make homemade egg noodles, drain them in my homemade colander and serve them with my homemade sauce. Right now I feel that 2 out of 3 is ambitious enough. I guess if I'm looking for bonus super mom points I'll serve the pasta in some homemade bowls.
